Where does the time go? I have a smile on my face this morning thinking about the fact that Mom-ology is two years old today! After starting many blogs, this one has really stuck and I am proud of where it is today. I have had an incredible couple of years… growing… learning… and I have met some amazing people on this journey thus far.
The past year has been an eventful one… some good, some not so good… but isn’t that what life is about anyways? The most incredible thing that I have experienced through my blogging is realizing how important one’s voice is.
When I started blogging, the first thing that popped into my head was… ‘Who is going to read what I have to say?’ Well, I know there are a number of people who read what I have to say. I hear from a number of autism parents on a regular basis, many who are struggling with school issues, but others that are just able to relate to what I am sharing.
I guess this has sort of turned into a bit of a post about learning that what you have to say does matter! Never doubt that your voice matters… because it does! Take it from this small town mom… I’ve seen it. So if you have something to say… say it! If you want to make a difference in the world… stand up and use your voice! Not only will it likely help you, but it will help others that you are speaking on behalf of. I advocate for children … and I am proud of what I do!
So, if I may say… Happy Blogiversary Mom-ology! It’s been one heck of a journey thus far and I look forward to seeing where we will go together over the next year!
To my readers… thank you for helping to make Mom-ology what it is today.
Now I can’t think of a better excuse to go and eat chocolate cake!!
