Mark Twain once wrote “against the assault of laughter, nothing can stand”… during these difficult times take some time each day to find something that can make you smile or laugh. It is true what they say, laughter is the best medicine!
Now, have you ever watched, say, Ellen, when she shares images of stupid signs that people have sent her? It makes you wonder just how stupid some people are! The same type of scenario, with a little different twist, are actual news headlines. In these cases I have to wonder, just how on earth did the journalist, editors and whoever else works on stories before they get published, not see that these were an issue.
Case in point…
Rarely? You mean there are actually some homicide victims that do manage to speak to police? Would love to be a fly on the wall for those conversations!
Alright, I hate math with the best of them, but I am pretty sure, when I was taught what a ‘majority’ was… it doesn’t work here with the 4 out of 10 statement! I’m thinking those that wrote this article are not smarter than a 5th grader!
OK, this one wasn’t so much the headline, but the first paragraph… clearly. Guess the individual that painted the camouflage did a little too good of a job. Now, in saying that, it reminded me of a photo that my son showed me the other day:
And to quote my son, “Bro… do you want to be seen or not?” Confusion…
What’s that saying? If I had your money I would burn mine? Lane County, wherever you are, I hope you have some new politicians running things after this!
Gee, what were they thinking they were going to find? Did they think they were going to find a buried treasure?
Oh my! What can I say here?? Those must have been some hungry students!
Well, health hazards or not, starvation sure seemed to cause the students in the above article to do some very strange things in the kitchen!
Take care of yourselves… stay safe… stay healthy.
